Song Premiere: The Beremy Jets' "Proud Button"
The Beremy Jets' Paul Saarnak and Somewherecold Records' Jason Lamoreaux did Noise Artists the honor to premiere the band's new song, Proud Button.
The Album, Careless, will be released on 27th July 2018 and can be pre-ordered on the record label Bandcamp page.
“Proud-Button is a song about chronic nervousness and stress, how it creeps up on you when you least expect it. But it is also about that it can be beaten and that the knowledge of this fact is a great comfort, at least at times.
My sister Anne, also the bass player in Slowmotion Club in which I am the drummer, sings with me on this one, which is lovely, I hope she will sing on more songs in the future!
It is one of my favorite tracks from Careless, it is a song with a good drive that came out really nicely.”
It is a beautifully crafted song, that fits well with the theme described above. It also includes a 90’s feeling and remind me at times of classic bands like Moose or MBV. I can not wait to ear the rest of the album.
