April 2018, a "Magnificent 7" playlist
From the city of Angers, one of France indie strongholds, La Houle have just released a really good album that mixes many influences around Shoegaze, indie, Lo-fi and above all have kept French touch in the arrangements and the voices. I love it. Hope you will too:
Sexores (Ecuador) new album, East/West is really beautiful and interesting. First part is breath-taking Dream Pop, second experimental Electro. There are 2 very good articles on this new work in Sonidos Que Permanecen if you want to know more.
Poland has some of the most interesting Post-Rock bands. Those Who Dream by Day is one of them. They got A place in the top ten best debuts in the world according to Post-rock. This is a concept album that in its essence describes the friendship of the band's members.
Alien Lizard are also from Poland, though get ready to get into a much more hallucinogenic and psychedelic music universe:

From New York and Germany, Just Like Honey has released a little gem of Indie Pop. Very soft, focused on the superb vocals from Darlene, dripping with honeyed melodies, this is really lovely to listen to.
