Noise Artists' Playlist: December 2019
In no particular order:
This is an impressive Post-Rock live session from the Frenchies of Alpha du Centaure. Can not wait for the LP.
Thai Shoegaze band Low Fly have released their first EP earlier this year. Some amazing music of which my favorite is a bout a cat.
Ghost Patterns is a DreamGaze band striding over 2 continents. Mixes the Sweetness of the Dream Pop and harshness of Noise Pop.
From Singapore, Stellarium released a superb new album. almost 10 years after their first one. Like a good wine, they matured and this is what they do now:
Beatastic new EP is just released, with again a huge song and some excellent songs. Here is an extract, short and to the point.
A nice ballad just released by the reunited UK Suncharms (band from the 90’s scene). Haunting.
All new, all the way from Taiwan’s Volcano with classic sounding DreamGaze already.
Rain to Rust is a one man Post-Punk project from İstanbul, Turkey. On the Gothic side of things, it provide superb DreamGaze.
This new Sicayda (Canada) single is the first to begin a series of single drops the band will be doing until their next release. great song. Look forward the next drops.
Angeles de Hielo (Ice Angels) is both a very good song from Argentinian Nax and a great season’s title as snow arrives in the North Hemisphere.
Tombstones in Their Eyes is from Los Angeles, California. Signed with our friends from Somewherecold Records, they propose a psychedelic Shoegaze that should tickle your ear.
Czechoslovakia is a grungy/shoegaze band from Poland (they are not Czechs). It's sort of trashy indie with 90s vibe and lyrics hidden above guitar sounds.
