NEIST SEASON (France): Synthgaze inspired by nature

NEIST SEASON is Frenchman Kevin Bedard. Influenced by synthwave , dreampop and 90s indie. Bedard creates beautifully crafted pop songs using guitars, synths and drum machines.

We premiered his Music Video, Drift To cassiopea, in September 2019.

Only me

How did you come up with your name?

Neist Point is on the isle of Skye. I love the place

What is your music about?

My music is about landscapes, road-trip and the ocean.

What are your goals as an artist artistically/commercially?

Find lots of cool places to play concerts.

Explain your songwriting process.

I often have several versions for only one music. I remove everything that is not convincing to keep the essentials.

Describe your palette of sound.

I like the dark sounds of analog synths mixed with the crystalline sound of the guitar

Is there a band that if they didn’t exist you wouldn’t be making the music you make?

Nirvana.

You are from France what are the advantages and inconvenient?

The advantage is that my style of music is alternative and original.

No inconvenients!

What are some places around the world that you hope to play with your band?

In English cities!
