Japanese Shoegaze & Dream Pop, a guide. Part 1
The month of May is very Japanese on Noise Artists, with our collaboration with Shojoskip and Plant Cell.
There are many other great Shoegazing bands in Japan, that have been a thriving scene of this genre for years. I have selected some of them for your pleasure, among many excellent ones.
If you want to know more on Japanese Shoegaze, you can go on the very good Facebook group Shoegaze Japan or the great music blog Muso Japan, both originated by Matthew Bedford, a true"Sensei" for all thing Japanese Shoegaze.
There will likely be more Shoegaze Japanese lists on Noise Artists, as there are such a variety of talented musicians on this great Island(s). Stay tuned for more in the coming months.
Tokyo shoegazer's Just Alright. One of the most uplifting songs of the genre by one of my favourite bands.
