June 2019 Noise Artists Playlist
In no particular order:
This foot-tapping song is extracted from the excellent new EP, Frantic Semantic EP, from the Indonesian musical project Grow Rich. One of the best Noise Pop/rock around. All songs of this EP are excellent and show an amazing progress in the artist’s musical maturity..
From one of our favorite bands, this song is extracted from their new EP ‘Angústia’ (Anguish). This a prefect name for this off-kilter Shoegaze / Post Rock piece that shows the talent and sound crafting of Camille Claudel, finishing in a pure Brazilian sing song. Love it.
Soon a full artist review on our website.
A beautiful Dream Pop song from the Russian Artists Dreaming Wizard.
This is extracted from the soon to release 2019 LP from serial songwriter Sean f. Schultz, that writes under the moniker Soñder. His music work has loads of very interesting music you may want to check.
Close your eyes, listen to the noisy winds that blow from the North of Brazil. The sound salad challenges the listener to go beyond the aesthetic standards of what is meant by "Brazilian popular music" and shows it can includes genres like Indie, Shoegaze and Drone.
Thanks to Bret Miller for playing this on his Ramblings radio show. We love the new Rubur LP and this song is amazing.
April Blue is a new Japanese band from Tokyo (thanks Shoegaze Japan FB by the way). This is the second single. If the EP or LP to come is at the same level, we can expect great things.
Hors Sujet is the solo project of Florent Paris, started in 2006: “Stories told through shapes, noises, feedback and landscapes.” It is ambient music at his best. Thanks to Peter Pires (Elusive Sound) for the original recommendation. This is an extract from the newly released EP.
